Quite aggravated.  I thought today I was going to be able to show the picture of my completed table runner, and matching placements.. not exciting, but they were done.. I was sure wrong.  I went to quilt the table runner today, and I butchered it within the five minutes of sewing.  So now I have to seam rip.  I then came to the conclusion that I could have a million quilt tops done, and they would be ruined with my lack of skill for free motion quilting.  So, of course I decided I had to practice.  I made a little sample, just practicing feather flowers.  The first one I drew, and it looked nice, but when I quilted it, .. another disaster.  So I started doing them free hand, then I realized they looked better without starting from a center circle.  I also learned that I need to practice my filler stitches as well.  I would give it to someone to quilt my tops for me, but then it wouldn't be my work.  So the alternative is, try to make them less noticeable.. So if you catch me on your blog, that is what I am doing looking at pictures, and trying to get some ideas. The fact that I love to look at quilt pictures has nothing to do with IT..  There is some really great talent out there, and I need just a tiny bit of it, so if you have some to spare, please pass it my way....
Here is the entertainment for today!!

Wow, Renee -- your 'practice' is looking quite good. Keep at it. You are really doing good. I, too, look and study other people's work - a great way to learn and get ideas. Hang in there, my friend.
