Today is Sunday my selfish day!

Trying to perfect my fine motor skills in machine quilting, I have been quilting my favorite printed flower fabric.  I didn't want to cut it so I thought it would be fun to thread paint it.  This is a great way to get the feel of your machine.  Very simple just tracing some lines and practicing machine quilting techniques.  I would love to be proficient enough in applique that I can eventually make my own flowers.  I have only been quilting for about 4 years now so maybe there is hope.. in another 10-20 years I will be able to do that.  I admire all of the talented quilters and artists out there.  Painting is another skill that amazes me that I can never do.
