Late Night Swim

9:45pm I let the dogs outside one last time before bed.  I saw something in the pool, and I was afraid to look, I thought another dead animal fell in from the trees.  The pool has not been ready to swim in once this year.

As I looked closer, I saw a female duck, and a male duck taking a late night swim.  Of course I had to run and get my camera.  I just started taking shots, aimlessly shooting, hoping to get one decent picture with out lighting, and surprisingly I did.  We get them once in awhile, but never able to get a picture.  I know, no big deal, but it is nice to see something alive for a change in the pool.  At least the pool is getting use out of it, laugh.  It has been too cold to swim for a few years now.  The male flew out next to where I was standing, and the female quickly followed.
