Center of Wall Hanging/ Clearing out Scraps

Since I had a lot of small strips of fabric that I save when cutting fabric, I thought this would be a fun way to use them.  Even though it was time consuming;  I thought it was more interesting than just sewing the strips together in the form of a log cabin which is what I usually do.  I think the longest part of the process was designing how I wanted to sew them together and how to do it to get the look that I wanted.  I have a plan on what I want to do next with the large pile of strips left,  So this should be interesting on whether or not I can get the design out of my head.
