My First Quilt

I enclosed some of my counted cross stitch projects in this quilt. 
Some pieces were sewn by hand, and some were sewn on the machine.
I didn't know how to use the sewing machine before I started.  I have never used one before and I didn't know the 1/4 seam allowance rule existed in quilting since I was self taught.  The hearts came from a Simply Quilt Episode on HGTV with Alex Anderson.  I loved that show, and it was so over my head at the time.
