My computer with all of my designs finally died. I am not worried, the "Computer Genius" can fix it.. I just can't get to my designs right now, which is aggravating. I searched online for blocks and found Quilter's Cache which is filled with hundreds of free blocks. I only made 2 blocks today since it really bores me making blocks. It was a nice change though.

Another Scrap Donation Quilt in the making
I have many drawers filled with various sizes and shapes. I have one with triangles, 2 inch, 3 inch, 1.5 inch and 4 inch.squares. I am trying to use them while fulfilling my donation requirement. I find pre cutting my pieces makes designing go quicker and more fun because then I can just pick through the bins. They also take up less space. Of course this method won't work for backing, binding or borders so I also leave neutral fabric in tact for those purposes.
I hope you all had a nice weekend.
I should have went to Tybee to watch the Northerner's swimming. I heard there were a lot to watch. Today was almost 80 degrees. I can joke about it because being from Ohio and coming from snow this time of year, I would probably be one of them, lol.

End of 2010 Donation Quilts Baby/Mom Lap Quilt 2
Please excuse the wrinkles. Had to hurry up and take the picture before the dog claimed the quilt for her own.

End of 2010 Donation Quilts
During October and the end of the year I use this time to empty out my fabric supply and make as many donation quilts as I can. I try and have a large range and selection. I make donation quilts throughout the year.
I want to thank everyone who helped with fabric donations this year. You would be surprised what I can do with the tiniest scrap. Fabric that is unwanted to someone is an absolute treasure to me and the person I can help with it. I wish I had more hands to make more quilts. Every little bit helps, so that is how I have to look at it. I forgot to say that even Tops you make that you don't like or finished quilts could also be put to good use, so don't throw them out, donate them to your favorite charity, cause, or organization.
Thank You for your help.

Donation Baby Quilt Finished
After Binding is sewn down I will take another picture. This binding will be a challenge since it is the smallest one I have ever done. Purple isn't my favorite color, but it was the best choice out of the fabric that I had.
